If her IV fails before then, she'll have the surgery right away in the middle of the night. She's resting comfortably now. Thank God for such kind, professional docs, nurses, and medical staff!
I'd love it if they can get the port catheter into a leg instead of her chest or neck, but need to trust that God will direct all of that perfectly. The "biggest" small risk is a lung puncture and collapsed lung.
Thanks again for your prayers. We should hear by 9 am.
Love,
Carrie
This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We (usually) live in Papua New Guinea and are working to support Bible translations in progress around the country. Gavin is a helicopter pilot and Carrie is a Public Health worker, primarily working with HIV/AIDS awareness. Isaac, our first son, was born in January, 2004. Our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were all born on August 9th, 2012 and a whole new adventure is just beginning!

Hi there,
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS on receiving God's blessing 5X!!!
My baby was born with a collapsed lung, and one of the hardest things I had to do, was to give her to the Lord, and say here Lord, she's Yours. She belongs to you. I dedicate her to You. I had to realize that I was just her earthly Mommy, but he was her heavenly, forever Daddy.
I pray that as they continue to thrive, you can give them up to God's tender, and very Able hands:)
I'm from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and know that I am praying, and I read your posts every day!
Much Love Because of Him,
Susan
