This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Anyone game?

We have no help signed up for this morning (it's 1:31 a.m. Saturday as I write). Thank God for night volunteers, but handling 4 babies who are still struggling with their little colds can be a real challenge for even the two of us. :} So if the Lord should lead you to our front door, dear Lotsahelpinghands baby care volunteers, we could definitely use your helping hands! That way I could get some sleep and also get up to see Seth at the hospital. :) Thank you to everyone for prayers and help and generosity in every way!

Love,
Carrie

  4. I often wish I was there to help you with the babies! I'd do that full time if I could, but I guess PNG is a bit far away to fly me there! :-) Praying you get the help you need and for healthy babies! Debbie McEvoy
