This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Praise God, he was extubated immediately! He will be sleeping the rest of the day. He looks great and HUGE! :)

Please continue praying, especially that he won't be in pain.

  3. Aww poor baby! I remember this surgery, from when our Cortlynn had it done, I think it will be a very good thing for Seth. When he doesn't want to finish a bottle or can't finish one, you just hook the bottle up to his tube, and wa-la he gets all the nutrients he needs.......he can be fully asleep & still get his bottle. We continiue to pray for sweet Seth & all the rest of you guys. I hope he can come home with you guys soon! I know you are ready!!!
    Love,

  12. Thank-you for the update...I've been praying....Please Lord let the recovery go smooth without much pain...and let him come home soon, to be with his Dad and Mom, Big brother, and other brothers and sisters he spent so much time with for 27 weeks... (and to his Grandma and Grandpa)....He is so beautiful....I can't wait to see pictures of his family holding him and rocking him..and big brother holding him ,and him surrounded by his "womb" mates smiling.... I love seeing the pictures of Will, David, Marcie and Gracie.their personalities, ARE JUST SO CUTE....Your house must be full of joy 24 hours a day....My 2 Daughters,18 and 21, and myself would be in Heaven,if we were there, we ALL just love Babies..... I just Praise God everyday, knowing how far each Baby, and all of you have come... God Bless all of you,, enjoy you Family to the fullest:)
