This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Muddy Sunday last week. Will with Seth behind.
Will LIKES being muddy!

The babies love the dog. That's Gracie on the right. I dunno where Marcie was at that moment - probably in someone's arms!

David's favorite pastime is stacking plates or cups. He loves to organize and reorganize. I can trust him, too, because he's super careful and meticulous and methodical! (Deb, I blame you.)

Marcie with crazy hair

David LOVES to ride his little vehicles.

Isaac and Kassia - she's such a good sport, sword-fighting like a guy!

My gorgeous view this morning as I hung laundry.

Gracie had to wear her head bow around her neck like a necktie. That was the only way she wanted to wear it, and when I tried to take it off she protested. So this is how she went to church. It looks pretty good, doesn't it!? (Despite her mouthful of cheese. A truly cheesy grin, ha, ha!)

  1. Love, love, love the fact that your not a Momma that has a fit when their kids get dirty! I remember saying to my own Mother once that I was having a tough time keeping the 3 boys clean....my Mom said "honey, if they aren't getting dirty they aren't learning anything about the world around them....let them be"! Good advice...from that point on I just let it ride! Love the pictures.....and thank you so very, very much for posting at ALL let alone every few days! While I'm sure I'm just one of many I check your blog each day to see new pictures and hear about the kids. Never apologize to us when you don't have time to blog, we understand! Prayers continue.....
