This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

The joy of DIRT

Gavin is building our kids a great sandbox/slide/swing/lookout playhouse. The slide is semi-operational, and the sandbox is fully usable and a big hit, not only with the toddlers but also with their big bro and his friends!

Marcie "cooking" - she loves to help in the kitchen, too!

Happy Will. Marcie's hair (background) is caked with sunscreen because she keeps taking off her hat.

Isaac being buried alive (or dead? His face is scary!) as Will and Seth look on. They thought it was funny.

From top to bottom: Seth, Will, David, Gracie, Marcie.

A bonus "dirt" picture. I don't know how Marcie managed to get this dirty. Maybe from the dust off our car??
The kids (minus Will? I haven't seen him try.) can all ride a bike with training wheels now!
[This is a picture of the tricycle, obviously. Thanks, Carey family, for the bikes and trikes!]
