- That we may glorify God in all that we do in each minute of the day
- God's wisdom and guidance for all the personnel taking care of the babies.
- For the babies' health and growth:
- Weight gain for each baby.
- That God would continue to knit our babies together in awe and wonder in His image now that they are out of the womb.
- For Seth: that his lung growth would accelerate and his oxygen dependency would decrease.
- That God would protect Carrie from postpartum depression
- That we may prepare well practically and mentally for the coming parenting challenges
- God's provision in physical help and finances
- That we may remain outwardly focused in times like this.
This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We (usually) live in Papua New Guinea and are working to support Bible translations in progress around the country. Gavin is a helicopter pilot and Carrie is a Public Health worker, primarily working with HIV/AIDS awareness. Isaac, our first son, was born in January, 2004. Our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were all born on August 9th, 2012 and a whole new adventure is just beginning!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new babies. Thank you for sharing your story and faith so openly. My wife and I are right behind you and expecting to deliver 5 in the next 6-8 weeks. We appreciated seeing your story and being encouraged. Congrats.
ReplyDeletePrayers being sent your way for a safe delivery and 5 healthy babies.
DeletePrayers being sent to your beautiful babies. May God watch over them, help them gain strength and grow. You may encounter some stressful times with trying to raise 5 babies at once but just remember stressful times will be followed by many many joyous times. Enjoy every minute because the time will go by so fast. Create wonderful, silly memories that will bring smile and laughter for years to come.
ReplyDeleteMay God continue to bless you and the beautiful babies that have come into the world. Your family is such a blessing and God has great plans for you all.I pray that each and every one of the babies continue to improve each and every day. Isaac is a amazing child and will make a great big brother. You and Gavin are a blessing to the work you are doing threw God.Good luck and I wish all the blessing in the world for you and the family. May God give each and every one of those mircles the strength and health to grow stronger each day. May God continue to bless you all each and every day. You family is beautiful:)Phyllis McDuffee

ReplyDeleteFor outward focus, for provision, for every need He shall supply! Isaiah26:3! Focus from the inside on the outside, and the "outside" moves inside! Revelation 3:20!
Lord, these folks have a LOT on their plate! But they have YOU, Halleluyah, they have You! In that truth they have everything they need. They even have the trials they need! Dear Jesus, Dearest Abba, please simply light their path. If it seems dark, send the torch lights of dreams and visions! Magnify Thy name through these wonderful ones of yours! AMEN, HalleluYah, Woo Hoo !!!!!!!!!
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Dear Jones family, I'm sending these links as it may be the Lord prompting me to do it. I have been sending them to others as I believe the author Billheimer has struck gold (Rev. 3:18).
